Christmas Time In Temple Square

Over The weekend we took our annual trip to Salt Lake for Shawn's Birthday. While we were down there, we made a trip to Temple Square. I had never been, and let me tell you, it was BEAUTIFUL! I couldn't believe all the lights. It was a good way to put me in the Christmas spirit. I love going to Temple Square, its so peaceful. I was even telling Shawn that we if got married around Christmas time I would have taken my bridals with the lights! Here are some pictures, I hope that you enjoy!

Happy Birthday Shawn!

Today is Shawn's 28th Birthday! I think that I'm more excited about it than he is! in my family our Birthdays were like Christmas! Shawn's family is alittle more laid back. This year we are going to Salt Lake again (we did it last year) on friday. Its nice to get away, and visit some friends that we hardly ever see. This year Shawn is going to take me to Temple Square to see the lights. I have never seen them and people keep saying that they are amazing. So I'm very excited! :) I will post pics when we get back!!!

Half Wall

Shawn and I have been talking about putting a half wall in our living room for a long time. When we bought our house there was an iron railing that was from the outside that was above our stairs. We took that down and didn't know what to put there. So I came home from work one day and this is what I saw:

1. Where did you meet? We met at my cousin Misty's Apartment. She set us on a blind date, and man that night was a disaster! but I decided to give him a second chance, and we have been together ever since.

2. How long did you date before you got married? 2 1/2 years! Crazy boy, he knew he wanted to marry me a year into relationship, he just wouldn't pop the question.

3. How long have you been married? 2 years 3 months! Ha Ha

4. What does he do that surprises you? Sad to Say, Nothing. He always tries to surprise me, but he does a crappy job of it. I always find out.

5. What is your favorite feature of his? His Eyes! I could stare at them for hours

6. What is your favorite quality of his? He is such a caring person, he would go out of his way to help anyone that needed him.

8. What is his favorite color? I'm going to have to go with Carolina Blue

9. What is his favorite food? He will eat anything, But he loves taco bell

10. What is his favorite sport? Basketball

11. When and where was your first kiss? It was on our first date, I know, I know, I gave into his smooth talking. It was up Satterfield

12. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? Pretty much anything, we have fun no matter what we are going together

13. Do you have any children? Not Yet, someday hopefully

14. Does he have a hidden talent? He can fix ANYTHING! its amazing!

16. Who said I love you first? He did and it scared the crap out of me.

17. Whats his favorite type of music? Alternative, not every once in awhile I catch him listening to JoJo or Rhanna

18.What do you admire most about him? He is so motivated in life and schooling, he is always trying to learn new things

Annual Family Christmas Party

Over the weekend, the family on my mom's side got together for our christmas party that we do every year. This year was a little different cause we use to have at Pocatello Pizza Place, but since that place has closed we have to find a good place that could hold about 50 people including about 20 kids. What better place than Outer Limits! that place is so much fun no matter what age you are! we all had a blast, and it was great to spend time with family we never get to see. We all had a blast and can't wait until next year!
