26 Week Update

I am now 26 weeks along, and starting to get nervous. Time is going by so fast, that I hope we can get everything done before he arrives. We still have to start on his nursery, order some more furniture, bedding, etc.... Sometimes I hate living in a town where you either have to go out of town OR order stuff offline. I guess that I better just put the pedal to the metal and start getting things taken care of.

As for Baby Hunter, he is doing awesome! we had a baby class last week and the doctor told me everything looks & sounds great! He has finally decided that kicking me in the ribs is a fun thing to do. It's so weird cause I swear that I can feel him roll around, and sometimes it even feels like hes doing flips in there. I haven't see an elbow or foot poke out yet, so I'm looking forward to seeing that. We are still on the same sleep schedule, and hopefully it stays that way after he is born. I think we have decided not to name him til he is born. We have our top 5 names picked out, we just need to see what he looks like.

Our Top 5 Names:
Callen
Kaiden
Keaton
Kellen
Landen

As for me, I'm doing great. Getting use to not being able to see my feet anymore. The other day, I had to have Shawn help put my socks on. And I have a feeling it's only going to get worse in the next 12-14 weeks. I have started going to the gym 4-5 times a week with Shawn, and I can't believe what a difference that has made. I at lease walk a mile or more depending on how I feel that day.

well, that's all I have for now....Til next time. :)

24 Weeks

I can't believe that we only have 16 weeks left! I feel like we have so much to do, and so little time to do it in. We finally decided on a crib and ordered it last week. Now we just need to find a dresser to go with it.

This little boy is so active! He moves around anywhere form 8am-10pm. I'm so happy that we are on the same sleeping habit though. He has finally started kicking me in the ribs, which is not a pleasant feeling at all. He is getting stronger everyday. At our last Doctors appointment, I'm measuring a week bigger, so if everything works out, his due date will match the ultrasound date and he will be here the end of May!

As for me, I feel great! I have been having some problems with my hips and inner thighs though. They don't really bother me in the day, but I dread going to bed. So hopefully the pain will get better. I feel as though my skin couldn't stretch any further, but I'm guessing it can and it will.

Nothing to exciting has happened in the last two weeks, but if anything happens I will post it.

What's in a Name?

I'm having a really hard time not having a name for this child. Shawn says that we have plenty of time to decide, but I'm such a control freak, I'm going nuts. I don't want this child coming out thinking his name is Cletus (his nickname right now). We have a few names picked out, but nothing set in stone yet.

Here are my names:

Keaton
Landon or Landen (not sure on the spl)

Here are Shawn's names:

Callan or Callen (not sure on the spl)
Kayden or Kaiden (not sure on the spl)

we know that the middle name will be Shawn, so we have that part taken care of. Never in a million years would I have thought it was this hard to name a child. If it was a girl, the name would be cake. We had both agreed on one, and loved it!

We have had some friends tell us to put the names in a hat and choose the name that way. We are still deciding on that.

I guess only time will tell what his name will be :)
