Scout Camp
So last night I went to Camp Little Lemih with Shawn. The Order of The Arrow were doing their "Call Out" ceremony, and Shawn wanted to help out. Going to boys camp is ALWAYS an adventure for me, I'm the only girl that isn't someone's mom or someone that works there. I always get funny looks from the boys. Its probably cause I'm so HOT!! just kidding. So Shawn got all dressed up, which takes about 30 minutes and we headed down to the bonfire. He was going to drum, but he was a little late and someone took his spot. I love it when he drums. I'm so happy that he wants me to go with me whenever he does stuff for the O.A. Its fun to spend time him and nice to get away and see all the friends we NEVER see otherwise. I can't wait to see what other adventures come our way!

Couples Tag....
1. How long have you been together? As of this past March we have been together for 4 years, Married for 2 years.
2. How long did you date? 4 years
3. How old is he? Almost 28 (He's getting old)
4. Who eats more? Shawn does, but it depends on what we are eating!
5. Who said “I love you” first? He did, and I was shocked!
6. Who is taller? Shawn, only by a few inches though
7. Who is smarter? Shawn by far! and he doesn't take any credit for it. Hes going to be the one that helps the kids with their homework.
8. Who does the laundry? This may sound weird, but we do our own.
9. Who does the dishes? It's about half & half, we don't have a dishwasher anymore, so we take turns.
10. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do
11. Who pays the bills? I do
12. Who mows the lawn? Both
13. Who cooks dinner? I do - well if you call out of the box cooking, Then I do it.
14. Who is more stubborn? I think it is about even
15. Who kissed who first? He kissed me first, when we were star gazing. smooth move hu?
16. Who asked who out? Neither of us- We were set up on a blind date by Misty. She's a good matchmaker!
17. Who proposed? Shawn did- On Mother's Day, he thought that would be a good gift for his mom.
18. Who is more sensitive? Me all the way.
19. Who has more siblings? Ha Ha, Have you seen my family? I do by far!
20. What were you doing 10 years ago? Living my own little life and he was starting his Senior year in High School.

1. Finish upstairs bathroom
2. Replace the windows
3. Replace the carpet in the whole house
4. Re-model the kitchen
5. Texture and paint the walls
5 things we would do if we were suddenly made billionaires:
1. Pay off our remaining debt.
2. Travel

5. Pay off our parent's debts

Jess: I'm a TOTAL germ freak! I HATE touching money. I'm a very picky eater, it has to do with the textures of food. I'm the only left handed person on both sides of my family besides my Grandpa. and I'm so tickelish its not even funny
Shawn: Hes is very handy, hes not afraid to try anything once. HATES rollercosters! Loves Taco Bell, he would eat there everyday if I would let him. He loves to give me a hard time. Has lots of friends in all sorts of groups. And is GREAT with kids.

A New Closet Door!
I don't know how many people have been to my house, but when we bought it, it didn't have closet doors in the Master bedroom. We thought that was a little weird, but not a big deal. So after a year of living without closet doors we dicided that we were going to install them because our cats would sometimes pee in our clothes baskets. So when we were all ready to dive into a weekend project, we measured the opening and it was only 41 3/4inches, the stanard opening for closets are 48 inches, explains why there wasn't doors when we bought it. So after running out of ideas on what to do, we just bouth a 36 inch door for now, and put it in. I don't really like the way it looks, but hopefully we will think of something else.

Fourth Of July!
So, on the fourth of July, Shawn had to work. But whats new, he works all the time. So my sister was kind enough to let me tag a-long with her family and her in-laws. We went to the Parade, which wsn't good at all, we waited 45 minutes for it to get started and it only lasted 20 minutes. and I was kicking myself cause I forgot my camera. So after that, we all went home and decided to take a nap and get ready for the fireworks that night. We all met at Bridgett's house and headed up to the fairgrounds from there. We had such a great time, I was just bummed that I didn't get to spend one of my favorite holidays with Shawn. Hopefully next year!

It's Official, Shawn Graduated!
Well after two years of very hard work, Shawn Graduated The University of Phoenix the end of May. He did such a good job! He had all A's! He was accepted to Indiana State University Master's Program, starting this fall. He should be done with that in about 1-2 years, depending on his work schedule. He plans on getting his Ph.d in the next 2-4 years, and hoping to get a teaching job at a College. Hes working so hard so that we will have a good future and I can stay home with our kids. Both our mothers were "stay at home moms" and that is something that we both want for our family. I just want him to know how proud of him I am, and I'm behind him 100% in whatever his choooses to do with his career.
