A Fun Weekend Get Away

Well last weekend Shawn and I had a chance to go to Utah. We went down to Delta, Ut (No man's land) its in the middle of nowhere. We went down there for an Order of the Arrow program the Boy Scouts were putting on. It took us forever to get there, but it was nice to see all the friendly faces that we only get to see once a year. After we were all done with that we drove back to Salt Lake and spent the day there, it was so nice to get away and finally spend some all awaited time together! I'm so happy that Shawn has weekends off, we are going to start planning some more weekend trips! I just wish that I was still out of town!

Jimmy Eat World & Paramore!

Well, over the weekend Shawn and I went to an AWESOME concert at the Holt Arena. For my birthday I told Shawn that I wanted tickets to Jimmy Eat World, who is one of my favorite bands! So we bought the tickets and Shawn had been dreading going because he says "Hes to old for the concert sene" But he went cause he knew how much it meant to me. We had floor tickets, which were nice cause they didn't have chairs, so everyone was able to spread out and do their thing.
Paramore opened, their so good live! I only knew 2 songs, but I think that we are going to buy her CD. She was very good about getting the crowd into it!
Jimmy Eat World was AMAZING! I wish that they could have had a longer time on stage. They did play the song that I was hoping for. Shawn was happy too, cause they playing what he wanted to hear too. They are very good performers. I would really like to see them again.
After everything was done, Shawn said that he had a great time, and was happy that he went with me. So there's hope that he isn't to old yet!
Its one concert that I will remember for a long time!

Landscaping

So, this week Shawn & I decided that with our tax refund we are going to finish our backyard. So we did the calucations, and we need almost 2 tons (3,500) pounds of brick to build out re-taining wall. So we came up with this brillant idea that we would move all of them ourselves. BAD IDEA!!! After we moved all the bricks we were feeling pretty good with ourselves, thinking that we were all tugh. Well, today I can bearly move, every muscle in my body hurts, even the arches of my feet. This wall better be worth it!

Soccer Game

Well, last night was my first soccer game of the spring season. It went good, and I got the crap kicked out of me. I was tackled, kicked, and ran over. Who ever said that soccer was a friendly game was lying! I can bearly walk today, but it okay, it just shows me how out of shape I am. We lost, but we all had a great time, and that's all that matters RIGHT!!!
