Pitter Patter, Pitter Patter.....

I guess that I can finally let the cat out of the bag! We are so excited to say that we have a BABY ON BOARD!!!!! We are due 6/6/2011, so that puts us around 11 weeks. (A little bummed that I will have to miss the first half of the softball season, but I think it will be worth it). We heard the heartbeat this week, and let me tell you, what an amazing sound that was to hear. I have been worried that there was something wrong, but our Midwife said that EVERYTHING LOOKS AND SOUNDS GREAT!! So now we get to play the waiting game to find out what it is. I think we figured the first or second week in January is when we should now.

I have been VERY LUCKY and haven't had morning sickness or any weird cravings so far. And I hope I keep it that way. The only thing that has gotten to me, is lack of sleep, but I guess it's just getting me ready for the months to come.

I just thought that I would share the good news, since it has been awhile since I posted last. :) I will keep everyone updated how things go!

4 years already!

Well today is our 4 year Anniversary. I can't believe it's been 4 years. Time sure has flown by. We aren't doing anything special today either. In fact, we only saw eachother for 10 minutes this morning and thats all we get today due to work schedules. I was reflecting on the past 4 years and realized that we have only spent ONE anniversay together! and that was because I forced us to take a trip to Portland.

Here are a few things that we have done in the past 4 years:

~Bought a house.

~Remodled numerous things around the house.

~Shawn graduated from School with his BA.

~Shawn started graduate shcool.

~Bought a new car, that has better luck than our old one.

~Trying to start a family.

~Sealed in the Temple.

I'm so excited to spend the rest of eternity with Shawn. I can't wait to see what the near future holds for us!

Shawn, you are my best friend and the love of my life. I don't think I would ever make it without you!

For Time And All Eternity

September 18, 2010 will always be a special for Shawn & I. That was the day that we were sealed to each other for time and all eternity. I can't even explain what an amazing experience it was. We felt joy, peace, and the spirit the whole weekend.

A week leading up to the sealing, I was getting pretty nervous of the un-known. The night before, I slept for maybe 2 hours if that. I have no I idea what I was so worried about. It was not what I thought it was going to be at all. (in a good way)

The only thing that has been hard for me is, that my family has no idea. They don't agree with the LDS religion, so we thought it would be best to leave them out of it. I just wish that I could express how happy I am about it. Hopefully down the road in the future, their hearts will open and I can share this with them.

I'm so happy to know that Shawn & I are now an eternal family, and what joy that brings into our lives and marriage. I didn't that we could never be this strong together.

I'm hooked, I can't wait to go back to the Temple. Hopefully we can get alot of couples together and go on some Temple date nights!

P.S. will be posting some pictures soon!

An Amazing Day!

Yesterday was so amazing. Long, but amazing. It started with an 8:30am meeting with our Stake President for our Temple recommend. Then at 10am I had my Patriarchal Blessing, which was so awesome! Church from 11am-2pm which I spoke for the very first time is sacrement meeting. (Was so nervous, but had a very sprital expirerence). And to top in all off, a fire side at 5pm. I cannot believe how strong the spirit was with me all day. It felt great! I'm so excited to go to the Temple this weekend. I have finally gotten over being nervous about it. I'm excited that I will with Shawn for Eternity. I couldn't picture myself in this life without him. Needless to say, I have a VERY busy week ahead of me. I will keep you all posted on how everything goes :)

Weekend with the Boy Scouts!

This past weekend I was able to spend at Scout Camp. We stayed at Island Park's Camp Friday-Saturday evening. Then we headed up to Camp Little Lemhi on Sunday after church. It was alot of driving, but EVERYTHING is so GREEN that it was a beautiful road trip.

Shawn is in charge of the Order of the Arrow call outs this year at Camp Lemhi, so we spent all weekend getting ready for that. I'm excited to see how it turns out. Shawn is an awesome scouter, and will make sure that everything will go off without any problems.

A few things that I have learned over the weekend:

-Don't collect all the scouts cell phones in a garbage bag. Or you will spend most of the next afternoon dumpster diving. (yes, the phones were found, in the bag, full of garbage. GROSS!!!!)

-Be prepared for any kind of weather. We has wind, rain, sun. But MOSTLY RAIN!

-Just roll with the punches, because nothing EVER happens the way its suppose to.

-Enjoy the little things in life, cause if you don't they will pass you by.

I'm SO EXCITED that Shawn has asked me to tag along and help him out this summer! So on any given Thursday night, if you are up at Camp Lemhi, we may see each other!

I will keep everyone posted on how everything goes.

My first Church Calling

Last night the 2nd counslor in our bishopric (spl) came over and asked if Shawn & I would like to be co-adult sunday school teachers. I was excited! for my first calling I couldn't have asked for a better calling. I love that I will be working with Shawn.

It was pretty funny, earlier in the day, they released our sunday school teacher, but didn't call anyone else. I thought it was a little wierd. So I leaned over and told Shawn that he was going to be the new teacher. He didn't think that was funny. I guess I'm more intune with the sporit than I thought I was.

I will let you know how we do, Sunday is our first class! Wish us luck!!
