Half Wall

Shawn and I have been talking about putting a half wall in our living room for a long time. When we bought our house there was an iron railing that was from the outside that was above our stairs. We took that down and didn't know what to put there. So I came home from work one day and this is what I saw:

1. Where did you meet? We met at my cousin Misty's Apartment. She set us on a blind date, and man that night was a disaster! but I decided to give him a second chance, and we have been together ever since.

2. How long did you date before you got married? 2 1/2 years! Crazy boy, he knew he wanted to marry me a year into relationship, he just wouldn't pop the question.

3. How long have you been married? 2 years 3 months! Ha Ha

4. What does he do that surprises you? Sad to Say, Nothing. He always tries to surprise me, but he does a crappy job of it. I always find out.

5. What is your favorite feature of his? His Eyes! I could stare at them for hours

6. What is your favorite quality of his? He is such a caring person, he would go out of his way to help anyone that needed him.

7. Does he have a nickname for you? Jess or Baby

8. What is his favorite color? I'm going to have to go with Carolina Blue

9. What is his favorite food? He will eat anything, But he loves taco bell

10. What is his favorite sport? Basketball

11. When and where was your first kiss? It was on our first date, I know, I know, I gave into his smooth talking. It was up Satterfield

12. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? Pretty much anything, we have fun no matter what we are going together

13. Do you have any children? Not Yet, someday hopefully

14. Does he have a hidden talent? He can fix ANYTHING! its amazing!

15. How old is he? 28 next week

16. Who said I love you first? He did and it scared the crap out of me.

17. Whats his favorite type of music? Alternative, not every once in awhile I catch him listening to JoJo or Rhanna

18.What do you admire most about him? He is so motivated in life and schooling, he is always trying to learn new things

Annual Family Christmas Party

Over the weekend, the family on my mom's side got together for our christmas party that we do every year. This year was a little different cause we use to have at Pocatello Pizza Place, but since that place has closed we have to find a good place that could hold about 50 people including about 20 kids. What better place than Outer Limits! that place is so much fun no matter what age you are! we all had a blast, and it was great to spend time with family we never get to see. We all had a blast and can't wait until next year!

Diet Update

Well, Cooper's diet didn't last long. I want to help him lose the weight, but feeding them 3-6 times a day wasn't working. So we went to walmart to see if we could find any kind of hard food that was healthy for them. I spent about 15 minutes flipping over every bag of cat food to see what was in it! I swear people that I was crazy!! I felt like it too. After searching high and low, I found some that looked pretty look. You know its a good sign when you bring the bag home, and they try to rip it open. So far so good, I only have to feed them twice day! I'll let you know if Cooper loses any weight.

Christmas In The Night Time Sky

Every year Shawn & I try to make to "Christmas in the night time sky" You are just suppose to bring a toy for a boy or girl, and they feed you dinner (chili or chili dogs) and have huge bon fires, and later a firework show. We have gone every year, but one since we have been together. I never knew about it before I met him. I think that its a good way to kick off the Christmas season. I'm so happy to see how many people come out in the freezing cold to help kids that can't afford Christmas. The fireworks we awesome (almost better than the 4th of July!) I can't wait until next year!

Thanksgiving

We really didn't do much on Thanksgiving. Shawn worked all night Wednesday and got home at 7:30am Thursday morning. I let him sleep til 11:30am, then it was off to his Uncle's House. For the past 2 years we have gone to his Uncle's house, which is kinda fun cause all of Shawn's extended family are there. Its nice to see the people we don't see very often. We left around 2pm, and Shawn was fast asleep when we walked in the door. So I pretty much just watched football ALL DAY LONG!!! Than Shawn was off to work again later that night.

I just want to tell everyone how thankful I am for their friendship. I wouldn't be the person I am today if I didn't have you in my life. I'm so thankful to be alive and in good health. I'm so thankful that I was able to find & marry my best friend & The love of my life! I know that we sometimes have our ups & downs, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I'm so thankful, that I didn't lose him a few months ago. I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for both of us, and we aren't done here yet. I'm just so thankful for my life, and can't wait to see whats in store for us next.

CONGRATULATIONS SHAWN!!!

After months & months of not knowing about Shawn's Graduate Schooling, We finally know! Shawn was accepted into Indiana State University. He was lucky enough to be able to do it online, so we don't have to move! He starts classes January of 2009. I'm so proud of him, this is just one step closer to his Ph.D. Shawn, I just wanted you to know that I'm very proud of you and everything that you do for our family.
