So much has been going on with all things baby, but I thought I would take a minute to tell you that Shawn was promoted to Sergeant! We are still in a world of shock over the whole thing. Within about a 2 week time frame they held interviews and he was hired. So not much time to sit and think about the whole thing. We both think that it is a GREAT oppertunity for him, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for us.
His new title entails: being the daytime Sgt./School resource officer. Plus, he is also in charge of the new officer training program. He has a lot on his plate. But I know he is up for the task. He's schedule is so much for flexable throughout the school year, and in the summertime he will patroling on the streets.
He has accomiplished so much in the short 4 1/2 years that he has been there. It's awesome the see that he is the go to guy with his coworkers. I'm proud of him, and all the hard work that he does for out family!

26 Week Update

I am now 26 weeks along, and starting to get nervous. Time is going by so fast, that I hope we can get everything done before he arrives. We still have to start on his nursery, order some more furniture, bedding, etc.... Sometimes I hate living in a town where you either have to go out of town OR order stuff offline. I guess that I better just put the pedal to the metal and start getting things taken care of.
As for Baby Hunter, he is doing awesome! we had a baby class last week and the doctor told me everything looks & sounds great! He has finally decided that kicking me in the ribs is a fun thing to do. It's so weird cause I swear that I can feel him roll around, and sometimes it even feels like hes doing flips in there. I haven't see an elbow or foot poke out yet, so I'm looking forward to seeing that. We are still on the same sleep schedule, and hopefully it stays that way after he is born. I think we have decided not to name him til he is born. We have our top 5 names picked out, we just need to see what he looks like.
Our Top 5 Names:
Callen
Kaiden
Keaton
Kellen
Landen
As for me, I'm doing great. Getting use to not being able to see my feet anymore. The other day, I had to have Shawn help put my socks on. And I have a feeling it's only going to get worse in the next 12-14 weeks. I have started going to the gym 4-5 times a week with Shawn, and I can't believe what a difference that has made. I at lease walk a mile or more depending on how I feel that day.
well, that's all I have for now....Til next time. :)

24 Weeks

I can't believe that we only have 16 weeks left! I feel like we have so much to do, and so little time to do it in. We finally decided on a crib and ordered it last week. Now we just need to find a dresser to go with it.
This little boy is so active! He moves around anywhere form 8am-10pm. I'm so happy that we are on the same sleeping habit though. He has finally started kicking me in the ribs, which is not a pleasant feeling at all. He is getting stronger everyday. At our last Doctors appointment, I'm measuring a week bigger, so if everything works out, his due date will match the ultrasound date and he will be here the end of May!
As for me, I feel great! I have been having some problems with my hips and inner thighs though. They don't really bother me in the day, but I dread going to bed. So hopefully the pain will get better. I feel as though my skin couldn't stretch any further, but I'm guessing it can and it will.
Nothing to exciting has happened in the last two weeks, but if anything happens I will post it.

What's in a Name?
I'm having a really hard time not having a name for this child. Shawn says that we have plenty of time to decide, but I'm such a control freak, I'm going nuts. I don't want this child coming out thinking his name is Cletus (his nickname right now). We have a few names picked out, but nothing set in stone yet.
Here are my names:
Keaton
Landon or Landen (not sure on the spl)
Here are Shawn's names:
Callan or Callen (not sure on the spl)
Kayden or Kaiden (not sure on the spl)
we know that the middle name will be Shawn, so we have that part taken care of. Never in a million years would I have thought it was this hard to name a child. If it was a girl, the name would be cake. We had both agreed on one, and loved it!
We have had some friends tell us to put the names in a hat and choose the name that way. We are still deciding on that.
I guess only time will tell what his name will be :)

22 Weeks
Today marks the 22nd week of pregnant. I can't believe how fast the weeks go by now. It took FOREVER to find what we were having, and now, the weeks just fly by.
Things I have noticed in the past two weeks:
~I'm now officially in "mom jeans" now. My jeans don't fit anymore :( But that's okay. I can't believe how comfortable these jean are!
~It's getting harder to bend over to pick things up.
~My skin feels like it can't stretch any tighter, and I now this is only the beginning.
~Harder to put on my shoe & sock. I wish it was a little warmer, I could just wear sandals.
~Heartburn has finally set in, and I'm not a fan of it. It ALWAYS seems to hit me right before bedtime. And always seems to wake me up in the middle of the night.
~Finding the right position to sleep isn't as easy as it sounds. And pillows can only do so much.
Other than that, everything seems to be going as normal. This little guy loves to go crazy ALL DAY LONG, but sleeps through the night. I'm just happy that it's not the other way around. :)

20 Weeks....Halfway There!

Today marks 20 weeks! I can't believe how fast the last few weeks have gone by. And I have a feeling that the next 20 weeks are going to fly by in a blink of an eye.
We are getting so excited to meet this little guy. I told Shawn that we need to decide a name, or else this boy is going to think that his name is baby or "cletus" (I'll explain later).
we went baby shopping over the weekend and it was alot of fun! I told Shawn that he is going to regret us finding out what we are having cause I can't stop buying clothes! I'm buying all the winter stuff that is on clearence so he can fit into it next winter. I have saved so much doing it this way.
Here is a list of things that I don't want to forget about my first 20 weeks!
~I was pregnant when we were Sealed in the Temple, we just didn't know it yet.
~I knew I was having a boy the day I found out that we were having a baby.
~I NEVER had morning sickness, and didn't puke once!
~Hearing the heartbeat for the first time was AMAZING, and something that I will NEVER FORGET!
~I have delvoped a case of whatever is on my mind, you are going to hear about it, and it's actually kind of nice.
~We nicknamed the baby "Cletus the Fetus" early on, so we'd have something to called it.
I will add more to this list as I remember them.

19 Weeks

I'm such a slacker! I wish that I would have been keeping better updates about this pregnancy. So, I have to decided that from this point forward, I will be doing a weekly update, so I can look back and remember everything.
This week marks 19 weeks along. We had our ultrasound this week and found out that we are having a BOY!!!! and he WAS NOT SHY in anyway to let us know what he was. Seeing him on the screen was so amazing! I have slept so much better these last few nights know that everything is going great, and he is one healthy baby boy. Don't get me wrong, we'd be happy either way as long as the baby is healthy and strong. We just wanted a boy first because we both have older brothers, and we needed someone to carry on the Hunter name. I knew from day one that it was a boy. I just had a feeling, and nothing was going to change my mind about it.
This child is a VERY active little boy! he pretty much moves non-stop ALL DAY! But I guess that's a good thing that he is hyper all day, not all night. I love to watch his little kicks, and Shawn felt him for the first time this week! We are both very excited to meet this little guy.
As for me, I'm doing great! I feel great, and have lots of energy. My breakouts have finally decided to stop, and I have the "glow" now. It's getting harder to bend down and tie my shoes, which I know is only going to get wrose. But for right now, I can't complain about anything.
Now all we need to do is settle on a name and start getting the nursery ready!
Until next week!
